An Album Rooted in Legacy, History, and the Road Ahead

“Sankofa Journey” is an upcoming musical project inspired by a family road trip that takes an unexpected turn—led by the mythical Sankofa bird, a symbol of returning to the past to reclaim what was lost. What begins as a vacation transforms into a powerful expedition across the United States, where each stop uncovers lesser-known African American histories at national park sites.

Driven by stories of courage, resistance, and brilliance, the album features songs honoring trailblazers like Brigadier General Charles Young, the 6888th Women’s Army Corps, Harriet Tubman, Carter G. Woodson, Robert Smalls, and the Tuskegee Airmen. 

Slated for release in late 2025, the project includes a moving theme song that celebrates the Sankofa bird and its message: look back to move forward. Sankofa Journey invites listeners to rediscover history on the road—through rhythm, remembrance, and the promise of a better future.

A Musical Exploration of Hispanic Heritage and Identity

Set for print-on-demand release through Amazon in late 2025, What Is a Country? (¿Qué es un País?) is the first title in a vibrant new series celebrating Hispanic Heritage. Designed for use year-round thanks to its cross-curricular connections, this mini musical explores identity, geography, and music through the eyes of three friends searching their attic for artifacts for a school project.

As they uncover clues, the story opens a window into the histories and cultures of four of the 20 Spanish-speaking countries and one U.S. territory honored during Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15–October 15). The journey is guided by a catchy theme song and four iconic musical genres:

Ranchera (Mexico)

Reggaetón (Puerto Rico & Panama)

Salsa (Cuba)
